Pantaleon Sugar Mill

Currently, Pantaleon is one of the major sugar mills in Central America. It is located in the south of Guatemala, in the Department of Escuintla, 14.20.04 degrees North and 90.59.31 degrees West, 86 kilometers (53 miles) from Guatemala City along the CA-4 road,one of the most modern in the country.

Pantaleon Sugar Mill is 1312 feet (400 meters) above sea level, with a mean annual rainfall of 1379 inches (3500 mm) during the rainy season, which typically begins in May and runs through October. The temperature range for the regions is between 15oC and 36 oC, with March and April being the warmest months, and December and January the coolest months. Relative humidity is in the range of 40% and 97%.

Concepcion Sugar Mill

In 1984 Pantaleon took on the management and control of the operations of the Concepcion Sugar Mill in Guatemala. It is also located in the south of Guatemala, in the Department of Escuintla, 14.19.34 degrees North and 90.47.16 degrees West 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Guatemala City along the CA-4 road.

The sugar mill is 1476 feet (450 meters) above sea level, with a mean annual rainfall of 1,379 inches (3,500 mm) in the rainy season, which typically begins in May and runs through October. The temperature range between 15oC and 36 oC, with March and April being the warmest months, and December and January the coolest months. Relative humidity is in the range of 40% and 97%.
