We are pleased to inform you that we have successfully completed the fourth cohort of our Supplier Incubation Program in collaboration with Pomona Impact. The program aims to provide training and guidance to local businesses to strengthen our value chain and contribute to the country’s development.

The program concluded with a closing breakfast, where participating companies shared their experiences and achievements during the process. We are very proud of their work and commitment throughout the program.

During the program, the four participating companies received personalized training to address challenges and seize improvement opportunities in their processes and business strategies. Additionally, they had the opportunity to set short, medium, and long-term goals, which allowed them to experience growth of up to 21% in sales compared to the previous year. They also generated 15 new jobs, and according to strategic plans, an 88% increase in employment is expected to be generated in the next 5 years.

Since 2019, as part of our commitment to the sustainable development of Guatemala, we developed this program with Pomona Impact to provide support to selected suppliers in the development and innovation of their organizations, thus promoting job creation and business growth.

For one year, suppliers work with the Pomona Impact team and a network of mentors to strengthen their business models and address the most important aspects for growing their companies. With a focus on selection, induction, execution, and monitoring, the program provides specialized business management training and offers mentoring and guidance to improve business skills.

Since the beginning of the program in 2019, we have benefited 23 strategic suppliers, generating 488 jobs.

At Pantaleon, we are committed to strengthening the business network and generating opportunities for sustainable growth and development.
