Pantaleon Mexico reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability by participating in the First National Forum for Sustainable Development, held in Tampico, Tamaulipas. This event brought together national leaders, international representatives, academia, the private sector, and civil society with the goal of exchanging experiences and building joint solutions to advance sustainable development in the country.
The forum addressed strategic topics for Mexico’s future, such as:
- Sustainable value chains and industrial innovation
- Energy transition and renewable energy
- Biodiversity conservation with social inclusion
- Circular economy as a driver of competitiveness
Pantaleon Mexico had a presence with an informational stand where we shared our sustainability vision, operations at Ingenio Pánuco and Ingenio El Mante, and innovative products such as Novapellet, an efficient and sustainable alternative for the livestock industry. The stand also highlighted the participation of team members from various departments, including Agriculture, Human Resources, Energy, Logistics, Social Development, and Communications, who engaged with attendees interested in learning more about our organization.
At Grupo Pantaleon, we are proud to be part of initiatives that foster dialogue and multisectoral collaboration, with the purpose of generating a lasting positive impact on communities, the environment, and the Mexican industry.
