At Grupo Pantaleon, we believe that sustainability is built hand in hand with those who cultivate alongside us. For this reason, we successfully concluded the 2025 Sustainability Training Program for Sugarcane Suppliers in Guatemala — a space designed to strengthen knowledge, share best practices, and promote a more responsible and competitive agricultural management.

During the two-day program, we had the participation of Pantaleon experts and strategic allies such as CentraRSE, the ICC – Private Institute for Climate Change Research, and Cengicaña, who addressed key topics for the present and future of the sugar sector:

  • 🌎 Climate change and its impact on sugarcane
  • 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Human rights due diligence
  • 💧 Responsible water use and local legal perspectives
  • 🌾 Safe use of agrochemicals
  • ⚖️ Legal, environmental compliance and certifications
  • 🌱 Regenerative agriculture

Suppliers from our value chain actively participated in this space for learning and collaboration, reaffirming our shared vision of a more sustainable, ethical, and competitive agroindustry.

Thank you all for your commitment and participation!

Together, we continue cultivating sustainability.
