Grupo Pantaleon participated in the National Congress on Biological Diversity and Protected Areas Guatemala 2025, organized by the National Council of Protected Areas (CONAP) under the theme “Megadiverse Guatemala, a shared responsibility.”

As part of the intersectoral panel “Successful restoration cases and their challenges,” Darlin Mejía, from the QHSE team at Ingenio Pantaleón, presented the organization’s commitment and the concrete actions implemented to conserve and restore biodiversity across its farms, highlighting the importance of integrating environmental management into productive operations.

This forum for dialogue and knowledge-sharing reinforces Pantaleon’s conviction that protecting natural heritage is essential to sustainable development, community well-being, and the resilience of the ecosystems that support our operations and the future of the territories where we operate.
