On November 25, Edgar Jair Méndez, Safety Coordinator at Ingenio El Mante, participated in the International Energy Congress Tamaulipas 2025, organized by the Secretaría de Desarrollo Energético de Tamaulipas and held at Expo Tampico.
The event brought together specialists, companies, authorities, and organizations to discuss the energy transition, investment opportunities, and initiatives that strengthen the sector’s value chains. The program featured keynote conferences, technical panels, and an industrial expo, where we were also present, fostering collaboration between public and private stakeholders.
During the panel “Social Impact: Investments and Sustainable Community Development,” Edgar shared the experience of the community well-being projects we implement, our coordinated work with the region, and the integration of social criteria into our operations.
His contribution highlighted how, from Ingenio El Mante, we promote practices that support local development, prioritizing safety, community participation, and regional growth, with a clear focus on building more sustainable environments.
