At Ingenio Monte Rosa, we believe that every action matters when it comes to protecting the environment. In coordination with the Municipality of El Viejo, local students, and our corporate volunteer program “Transformando Vidas,” we carried out a beach cleanup at Santa María del Mar, collecting over 100 sacks of waste. This initiative reflects our commitment to environmental conservation and collaborative work with neighboring communities.
We also strengthened partnerships with AgroPilones de Nicaragua through a technical visit with the agricultural team from Ingenio Monte Rosa, aimed at learning about their plant nursery production chain. This collaboration seeks to promote the use of biosubstrate produced in our operations—an alternative that encourages more sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
