Grupo Pantaleon celebrates an important step toward improving the conditions of those who make the harvest possible: sugarcane transporters. At Ingenio Pánuco, the new Freight Drivers’ Rest Facility was inaugurated, designed to provide a safe, hygienic, and comfortable space for rest and meals during their workdays.
This new facility features well-maintained restrooms and showers, as well as four fully equipped classrooms for our cooks, each with its own workspace, creating a dignified and functional environment that enhances the daily experience of those who support our operations.
The launch of this space is the result of joint efforts between Ingenio Pánuco, the National Peasant Confederation (CNC), and the National Confederation of Rural Producers (CNPR)—a tripartite collaboration that demonstrates what can be achieved when we move forward together.
Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to creating more human-centered, functional, and safe spaces for those who are an essential part of Pantaleon and who contribute every day to a more efficient and sustainable harvest.
