Pantaleon has been named a finalist in two categories of the Bonsucro Inspire Awards 2026, an international recognition highlighting innovative initiatives that advance sustainability across the sugarcane value chain.

In the Best Value Chain Initiative category, the project Regional Model for Sustainable Sugarcane Productivity was shortlisted. The model integrates three complementary initiatives: Production Extension Services, Harvest Extension Services, and the Regional Training Center.

This approach has helped strengthen productivity and sustainability across the sugarcane value chain by improving agricultural practices and harvest mechanization while developing specialized talent for the industry. The initiative also provides training opportunities for employees and members of communities near Ingenio Pánuco.

Pantaleon was also shortlisted in the Best Social Initiative category with the project Water for All: Campirano Norte, implemented by Ingenio Monte Rosa.

Through this initiative, 70 families in the Campirano Norte community now have access to safe drinking water, benefiting more than 500 people while promoting community participation in managing the water system to ensure long-term sustainability.

Since its launch in 2014, the Water for All program has benefited 18 communities and more than 9,700 people, contributing to improved health, hygiene, and well-being in local communities.

These nominations reflect Pantaleon’s commitment to sustainable development and to creating shared value across its communities and value chain.

We congratulate and thank all employees who make these initiatives possible and whose commitment and talent continue to drive opportunities at Pantaleon.
